Every Herbal Store. One Address.

The Green Leaf Social is a café and shop on 4th Avenue in Parkhurst. Downstairs is a specialty coffee bar with a leafy courtyard; upstairs is the retail floor. The shop stocks CBD oils and topicals from South African producers, vaporizers and accessories, glassware, rolling supplies and a small grow corner with seeds, soil and lights for home growers. Everyone is ID-checked at the door, and we don't sell or supply cannabis flower. Come for a flat white, stay for a board game, and ask the team anything about the products on the shelves.

Umthombo means 'the source', and that's what the Mkhize family have built on Florida Road over three generations. The store carries one of Durban's widest ranges of traditional Southern African plant material: barks, roots, leaves and seeds, sold loose by weight. Alongside the traditional range there's a kitchen corner with spices, masala blends mixed on site, dried chillies and baobab, moringa and marula products from growers across KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo. The team speaks isiZulu, English and Afrikaans and can help you find what you're looking for. Everything is labelled with its common and botanical name and where it was grown.

Salt & Sage is a studio, shop and tonic bar in a converted Menlo Park house. The front rooms are the shop: plant-based skincare from local makers, bath salts and soaks, essential oils and diffusers, and a shelf of powders and capsules from South African producers. Out back is the tonic bar, where we whisk ceremonial-grade matcha, make golden lattes and pour cold-pressed juices. The garden room hosts workshops most weekends, from soap-making to candle pouring. Everything we stock is cruelty-free, and we're happy to refill your own bottles and jars at the refill station. Free parking is on the property.
